Dear Parents & Guardians,
Well it’s only been a few days since we last connected in our AVS parking lot. Despite our social distancing, our team really enjoyed seeing all of you and your children. We were all reminded of the strong bond and partnership we have with our families.
This is a very difficult and challenging time as the COVID-19 virus situation continues to be an ongoing fluid situation. Due to this, a press release was provided to the public this afternoon indicating Sonoma, Marin, and Napa counties have agreed to officially plan for continued student distance learning through May 1.
We now have an updated student return date of Monday May 4th, 2020. This means our distance learning model will continue to remain in place for our students for the next several weeks. Even though our student return date has been extended, we are not planning on implementing another student material pick up drive through as your child has the materials they need to find success. Teachers will continue to develop their lessons and continue implementing their distance teaching/learning with their students.
